ANV20

Mini Monocular
The Mini Monocular utilizes a single US Made Generation 3 (64lp) image intensifier tube to provide crisp, clear images under the darkest conditions. Utilizing the most advanced housing, this system is built to handle the toughest of environments.
Mini Monocular Price: $3,295.00

Information Note: the industry standard for tactical work is the Litton 983 (weapons mountable).   The Litton has 52 line pair as standard vision capability.  The ANV20 is 64 line pair which gives it about 20% better image than the Mil Spec Litton.

The single tube / single eyepiece approach to night vision is based upon the proven concept that independent use of each eye maximizes the ability of the user to operate under a wide range of low light conditions. This tactic tends to enhance the field of view, while reducing the risk of temporary night blindness typically associated with night vision goggles. The user retains his full peripheral vision in the unaided eye in conjunction with the 40 degree field of view offered by the night vision device.

The Mini Monocular works with either a single AA, or 3.5 volt lithium battery offering more flexibility and longer battery life. The integrated IR illuminator enhances the ability of the user to read maps, and operate in confined spaces. The Mini Monocular is compatible with most all weapon mounted IR laser aiming and illuminating devices.

AN/PVS- 4

The U.S. Army's AN/PVS-4 is now available. Two improved versions are also available that are being tested, but not yet adopted by the Army. All three use only high-quality American-made image intensifier tubes.  The AN/PVS-4 is available in Generation 2 or Generation 3

AN/PVS- 4 Price: $1,495.00

It is suitable for use on a wide variety of weapons including 5.56mm and 7.62mm rifles.  The PVS-4 houses an adjustable internal lit reticle and a 25mm Generation 2 image intensifier tube which features automatic brightness control.  The PVS-4 allows the user to determine tube and reticle brightness with manual adjustments.
The U.S. Army brought the AN/PVS-4s by the thousands for use with the M14, M16, and M60 weapons. M72A1 rocket launcher, and the M203 grenade launcher. The Army specification for the AN/PVS-4 (NVEC Model 700) required man-sized target engagement at 600 meters in moonlight and 400 meters in starlight. Models 700HP and 750 improve upon those ranges by 30% and 60% respectively. Reticle adjustments include brightness control, elevation and azimuth in 0.25 MIL increments. The kit is supplied with a bracket for the M16, so if you are an M16 shooter, the kit shipped includes everything you need. Key Features include
